It is impossible not to communicate; we all need to interact with other persons. Based on the information offered in the previous chapters, I have demonstrated that communication is the essence of human relationships, representing the set of physic and psychic processes through which the process of interaction with one or more persons is performed, having certain objectives. It means the transmission of the message from a sender (addresser) to a receiver (addressee), with a certain effect, and a certain opportunity of immediate feed-back, which ensures the circular character of the communication process, showing whether the message was understood.

I have chosen Charles Dickens, not only because I like him as a writer, but because, he, throughout his career wrote novels which concern all kinds of people; from all social environments, from all community levels; characters that form all kinds of relationships. He approached different sorts of relationships; the ones created between family interested him most (because of his childhood), but also the ones between friends, work partners, lovers, even strangers; he very well reflected in his novels, the way people interact and develop relations.
